The Dogtra PATHFINDER2 COMPASS combines long-range GPS dog tracking and complete e-collar training control in a rugged handheld system built for serious hunting dog handlers. Designed for dogs 35 lbs. and larger, the system pairs the COMPASS handheld with the full-size PATHFINDER2 GPS e-collar receiver for up to a 9-mile range, fast 2-second GPS updates, and dependable tracking and training without requiring a cellular signal or monthly subscription.

Unlike phone-dependent GPS dog tracking systems, the COMPASS handheld operates independently. Its 2-inch display provides live direction and distance information while Multi-GNSS positioning and a built-in 3-axis compass help you keep track of dogs moving through heavy cover and changing terrain. The system can track up to 21 dogs, with as many as four dogs displayed on the handheld screen at one time.

The PATHFINDER2 COMPASS is also a full-featured GPS tracking and training system. A 100-level rheostat dial provides precise stimulation adjustment, while customizable e-collar buttons let you configure the handheld around the way you handle your dogs. Select One mode allows you to choose a dog and use the buttons for that dog, while Override Mode can dedicate customized corrections to individual dogs for fast access in the field.

The included full-size PATHFINDER2 GPS e-collar receiver is a high-output receiver intended for dogs 35 lbs. and up. Training functions include Nick, Constant, Nick/Constant, Boost, Pager vibration, audible tone, Level Lock, and a powerful 1000 LUX LED locate light. Receiver Lock Mode helps prevent unintended changes, while Sleep Mode provides another level of control during long days afield.

When you want more detailed mapping, pair the COMPASS with the free PATHFINDER2 app on a compatible smartphone. The app expands the system with detailed map views, offline navigation and mapping features, public land information, and GPS fence capabilities including E-Fence, Geo-Fence, and Mobile Fence. The COMPASS handheld itself does not display full maps; those mapping functions are viewed through the PATHFINDER2 app.

For hunters who want the security of a dedicated handheld without giving up the mapping capabilities of a smartphone, the Dogtra PATHFINDER2 COMPASS GPS dog tracking system provides both. Track and train directly from the handheld when your phone stays in your pocket, then connect to the PATHFINDER2 app when detailed maps and advanced navigation tools are needed.
